Black Rice and Red Bean Rice

Summary:

This is a nutritious and chewy vegetarian staple, where black rice and red beans combine to create a naturally sweet and fiber-rich dish.

Ingredients:

Black rice 150g
Red beans 100g
White rice 50g (optional, for a softer texture)
Water as needed

Instructions:

1.Prepare ingredients:
Rinse the black rice, red beans, and white rice. Soak the black rice and red beans for at least 4 hours to reduce cooking time.

2.Mix ingredients:
Add the soaked black rice, red beans, and white rice into a rice cooker, then pour in an appropriate amount of water (slightly more than usual).

3.Start cooking:
Select the “multigrain rice” or “standard rice” cooking mode and start the process.

4.Let it steam:
Once the cooking cycle is complete, allow the rice to steam for another 10 minutes for a softer texture.

5.Serve and enjoy:
Fluff the rice with a rice paddle, serve warm, and enjoy it alone or paired with vegetarian dishes.
