Sweet and Sour Cabbage

Summary:

This is a crisp and refreshing vegetarian dish, where cabbage absorbs the perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors in a quick stir-fry.

Ingredients:

Cabbage 300g (torn into pieces)
Red bell pepper 50g (sliced)
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Rice vinegar 2 tbsp
Sugar 1.5 tbsp
Salt to taste
White pepper powder to taste
Cooking oil 1 tbsp

Instructions:

1.Prepare ingredients:
Wash and tear the cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Slice the red bell pepper.

2.Stir-fry cabbage:
Heat oil in a pan, add cabbage, and stir-fry over high heat for 1 minute until slightly softened but still crisp.

3.Season:
Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, salt, and white pepper powder. Stir well to combine.

4.Add red pepper:
Toss in the red bell pepper and stir-fry for 30 seconds to mix evenly.

5.Finish and serve:
When the cabbage is coated with sauce and slightly reduced, turn off the heat and serve immediately.
