Hot and Sour Cabbage

Summary:

This is a refreshing and appetizing vegetarian dish, where cabbage absorbs the tangy and spicy flavors, staying crisp and delicious.

Ingredients:

Napa cabbage 300g (sliced)
Red bell pepper 50g (sliced)
Dried chili peppers 2 pieces (optional, for spice)
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Rice vinegar 1.5 tbsp
Salt to taste
White pepper powder to taste
Cooking oil 1 tbsp

Instructions:

1.Prepare ingredients:
Wash and slice the napa cabbage, julienne the red bell pepper, and cut the dried chilies into small sections.

2.Infuse chili aroma:
Heat oil in a pan, add the dried chili peppers, and stir-fry over low heat until fragrant.

3.Stir-fry the cabbage:
Add the sliced cabbage and stir-fry over high heat for 1-2 minutes until slightly softened but still crisp.

4.Seasoning:
Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, salt, and white pepper powder. Stir-fry for another 30 seconds to coat the cabbage evenly.

5.Finish and serve:
Add the red bell pepper, toss well, and let the sauce slightly reduce. Turn off the heat and serve immediately.
