Stir-fried Lettuce with Mushrooms

Summary:

This is a light and juicy vegetarian dish, combining crisp lettuce with umami-rich mushrooms, quickly stir-fried to retain their natural flavors.

Ingredients:

Lettuce 200g (torn into large pieces)
Mushrooms 150g (sliced, such as shiitake, button, or king oyster mushrooms)
Red bell pepper 50g (sliced)
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Vegetarian oyster sauce 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
White pepper powder to taste
Cooking oil 1 tbsp
Water as needed

Instructions:

1.Prepare ingredients:
Wash and drain the lettuce, tearing it into large pieces. Slice the mushrooms and red bell pepper.

2.Stir-fry mushrooms:
Heat oil in a pan, add the mushrooms, and stir-fry for 2 minutes until slightly softened.

3.Add seasonings:
Pour in soy sauce, vegetarian oyster sauce, salt, and white pepper powder. Stir well.

4.Quickly stir-fry lettuce:
Add the lettuce and red bell pepper, stir-fry quickly for 30 seconds until evenly coated but still crisp.

5.Finish and serve:
Turn off the heat, transfer to a plate, and serve immediately.
