Braised Green Beans with Potatoes

Summary:

This is a hearty and flavorful vegetarian stew, where tender potatoes and green beans absorb the rich seasoning, making it a perfect comforting dish.

Ingredients:

Green beans 300g (trimmed and cut into sections)
Potatoes 200g (peeled and diced)
Red bell pepper 50g (sliced)
Soy sauce 1.5 tbsp
Vegetarian oyster sauce 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
White pepper powder to taste
Cooking oil 1 tbsp
Water as needed

Instructions:

1.Prepare ingredients:
Trim and cut the green beans, peel and dice the potatoes, and slice the red bell pepper.

2.Pan-fry potatoes:
Heat a little oil in a pan, add the potatoes, and pan-fry over low heat until slightly golden. Set aside.

3.Stir-fry green beans:
Add more oil to the pan, stir-fry the green beans until they darken and slightly wrinkle.

4.Braising:
Return the potatoes to the pan, add soy sauce, vegetarian oyster sauce, salt, and white pepper powder. Stir well, then add water, cover, and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.

5.Finish and serve:
Add the red bell pepper, stir well, allow the sauce to slightly reduce, then turn off the heat and serve.
