树提摩纳显神通
在一所佛寺前面，树提摩纳正在向宝藏佛显露他的神通力，他是一位神通力非常厉害的菩萨。
树提摩纳菩萨抬起头来，大声地说：
「我现在发愿用无上菩提心成就我的善良根业，我要在佛法上实现所想到的任何事情，让众人得意。我要让我的两只手掌，自然而然地游出两条龙来。」
宝藏佛笑了笑，没有说话。树提摩纳菩萨便继续说：
「这两条龙能离开地面，飞腾到天空上去。」
宝藏佛仍是笑着不说话，菩萨又继续说：
「它们还能使上天降下大雨来滋润大地。」
宝藏佛还是微笑的注视着他。
然而树提摩纳菩萨的话才刚说完，只见两团白雾从他交叉的手掌心喷出来，慢慢浮到空中。白雾中有两条小龙缓缓出现，银色的鳞片闪烁着亮光，慢慢变大。忽然两条龙双双飞出，在宝藏佛的面前舞动着。这时树提摩纳菩萨轻喝一声：
「升天！」
于是两条大白龙离开原地，在耀眼的阳光中直飞上天。
宝藏佛终于也抬起头，仔细观望起来。树提摩纳菩萨又喊了一声：
「降雨！」
于是空中风起云涌，顷刻间降下漫天大雨，连绵不绝。
「啊！天上有龙！」人们纷纷从屋内跑出来，在雨中惊讶地叫着。
「我看见了，我看见龙！」一个小孩子发出欢乐的叫声。
人们仰望着天空，只见那两条白龙在空中翻滚盘旋，将雨水洒向大地。
正当人们惊奇万分的时候，树提摩纳菩萨又喊了一声：「停吧！」
刹那间云雾散开了，雨也停了，大地万物都散发出阵阵香味。人们还久久注视着天际，不肯离开。
两条白龙越飞越低，突然缩小，变回原本的模样，跳到菩萨和宝藏佛的面前。
宝藏佛不禁开口说：「太妙了！太妙了！」
树提摩纳菩萨仍跪着，说道：「谢谢世尊的恩德。」
两个白龙游动着，飞到菩萨面前，菩萨高兴地说：
「好了，进来吧！」
两条活蹦乱跳的白龙便游进树提摩纳菩萨的手掌心，隐然不见了。
菩萨这才站起身来，欢欣地告辞离去。

Śrītimāna Manifests Supernormal Powers
Before a Buddhist monastery, Śrītimāna was displaying his supernormal powers before the Buddha Ratnagarbha. He was a Bodhisattva endowed with exceedingly great spiritual abilities.
Śrītimāna Bodhisattva raised his head and proclaimed in a loud voice,“I now make a vow, using the unsurpassed Bodhi-mind to accomplish my wholesome root-karma. Whatever I conceive within the Dharma, I shall bring to fulfillment for the delight of all beings. I vow that from the palms of my two hands, two dragons shall naturally emerge.”
The Buddha Ratnagarbha smiled gently and remained silent. Śrītimāna Bodhisattva continued,“These two dragons shall rise from the ground and soar into the sky.”
The Buddha Ratnagarbha still smiled and did not speak. The Bodhisattva went on,“They shall also cause rain to descend from the heavens, moistening and nourishing the earth.”
The Buddha Ratnagarbha merely gazed upon him with a smile.
As soon as Śrītimāna Bodhisattva finished speaking, two clusters of white mist issued forth from the crossed palms of his hands and slowly floated up into the air. Within the mist, two small dragons gradually appeared, their silvery scales shimmering with radiant light as they slowly grew in size. Suddenly, the two dragons leapt forth together and danced before the Buddha Ratnagarbha. At that moment, Śrītimāna Bodhisattva softly cried out,“Ascend to the heavens!”
At once, the two great white dragons rose from their place and flew straight up into the sky beneath the brilliant sunlight.
Only then did the Buddha Ratnagarbha raise his head and carefully behold the sight. Śrītimāna Bodhisattva called out again,“Send down rain!”
Immediately the winds gathered and the clouds surged, and in an instant a vast, unceasing rain poured down from the sky.
“Ah! There are dragons in the heavens!”
People rushed out from their houses, crying out in amazement amid the falling rain.
“I see them, I see the dragons!”
A young child exclaimed with joy.
All gazed upward and saw the two white dragons rolling and coiling through the sky, scattering rain upon the earth.
Just as the people marveled in astonishment, Śrītimāna Bodhisattva called out once more,“Stop!”
In that very instant, the clouds dispersed, the rain ceased, and all things on the earth emitted waves of fragrant aroma. The people continued to gaze at the heavens for a long while, unwilling to depart.
The two white dragons descended lower and lower, suddenly shrinking back to their original form, and sprang before the Bodhisattva and the Buddha Ratnagarbha.
The Buddha Ratnagarbha could not help but speak,“Most wondrous! Most wondrous indeed!”
Śrītimāna Bodhisattva remained kneeling and said,“I give thanks for the grace of the World-Honored One.”
The two white dragons moved about and flew before the Bodhisattva. The Bodhisattva joyfully said,“Very well, come in now!”
The two lively white dragons then glided into the palms of Śrītimāna Bodhisattva’s hands and vanished from sight.
Only then did the Bodhisattva rise to his feet, take leave with joy, and depart.
