The True Source of Wisdom Power

“Wisdom power” refers to the ability to see reality clearly—not intellectual knowledge or analytical skill, but direct insight into the nature of life. True wisdom arises from awareness, stability, compassion, and non-self. Understanding its source is essential on the path of liberation.

1.Wisdom Does Not Come from Thinking but from Clear Awareness

1.Thinking analyzes but does not reveal truth

Thought operates through concepts, which obscure reality.

2.Awareness meets experience directly

It does not interpret or distort—it simply sees.

3.Wisdom arises from seeing facts, not explaining them

The more we explain, the further we drift from truth.

2.Wisdom Arises from Mental Stability

1.A disturbed mind cannot see clearly

When the mind is shaken by fear, desire, or restlessness, insight is impossible.

2.A stable mind becomes naturally bright

Like still water reflecting the moon.

3.True stability is relaxed yet alert

Not tense, not scattered—balanced.

3. Wisdom Comes from Direct Observation of Body and Mind

1.Observing the body reveals impermanence

Aging, illness, and pain show lack of control.

2.Observing feelings reveals their transient nature

Pleasant, unpleasant, and neutral sensations all arise and fade.

3.Observing thoughts reveals their cloud-like movement

Thoughts come and go on their own.

4.Observing phenomena reveals dependent arising

This leads naturally to understanding non-self and emptiness.

The deeper the observation, the greater the wisdom.

4.Wisdom Is Supported by Compassion

1.Wisdom without compassion becomes sharp and cold

Discernment alone can harm rather than heal.

2.Compassion softens and completes wisdom

It ensures insight is used with kindness.

3.Compassion opens the heart

An open heart allows wisdom to manifest more fully.

5.Wisdom Arises When Self-Grasping Weakens

1.The stronger the ego, the weaker the wisdom

Self-centeredness obscures truth.

2.Observing non-self removes layers of distortion

When the sense of “me” relaxes, clarity appears.

3.Wisdom is uncovered, not created

It is already present beneath delusion.

6.Wisdom Comes from Practice, Not Theory

1.Study provides concepts, not insight

Concepts are maps, not the terrain.

2.Meditation steadies the mind

A steady mind can observe subtle reality.

3.Insight arises from direct experience

Awareness → understanding → release → wisdom.

True wisdom grows from practice, not speculation.

Conclusion

The true source of wisdom is clear awareness, mental stability, compassionate openness, and the loosening of self-grasping.Wisdom is not manufactured by thought—it emerges from the mind’s natural clarity when delusion fades.
