环境与安住,是静坐得以顺利展开的基础。良好的环境提供外在支持,而安住则让心在其中自然沉静。两者结合,使身心更容易回到平稳、松动与清明的状态,让练习更深、更稳、更容易进入。

环境与安住,是指藉由调整外在空间与身体姿势,使心在稳定、安全与无干扰的状态中逐渐沉落下来。环境是外缘,安住是内因;环境愈适宜,安住愈容易。
